Service interrupt via unchecked array multiplication
Published Aug 16, 2026 · Updated Aug 16, 2026
Denial of service in Scriban 3.0.0 through 7.2.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt template-processing services via array multiplication. ScriptArray.TryEvaluate sizes a new array with unchecked intModifier * array.Count arithmetic, then fills it without LoopLimit or LimitToString enforcement. Exposure requires evaluation of wholly or partly attacker-controlled templates; a small input can force multi-gigabyte allocations, causing request failure or host termination under memory pressure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
