CVE-2026-73057Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Memory exhaustion via uncapped SVG rendering

Published Aug 16, 2026 · Updated Aug 16, 2026

Denial of service in the January proxy in Revolt Platforms Ltd Stoat before 0.15.0 allows remote attackers to exhaust memory via crafted SVGs. The proxy fetches arbitrary URLs, parses SVG files, and passes untrusted viewBox width and height values directly to image allocation without any upper bound, so oversized dimensions trigger massive Pixmap::new() allocations. No authentication or user interaction is required; concurrent requests for attacker-hosted SVGs can consume RAM across proxy replicas and interrupt service availability.
