CVE-2026-73033Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file deletion via unvalidated integrity paths

Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Path traversal in Sucuri Security 2.7.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files. The pageIntegritySubmission() method in src/integrity.lib.php concatenates the sucuriscan_integrity value with ABSPATH without normalizing the path or confirming that it remains inside the WordPress installation before passing it to unlink(). Administrator privileges and a valid Integrity-page nonce are required; deleting wp-config.php, .htaccess, or plugin files can interrupt the site, permit malicious reinstallation, or disable protection.
