Buffer overflow in RTI Connext Professional Web Integration Service allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a malicious WebSocket request. Its WebSocket request parser copies attacker-controlled data without a sufficient bounds check, permitting an out-of-bounds copy. Network access is sufficient on unsecured ports; secure ports block untrusted connections, and a successful request interrupts the service with limited data exposure or modification.
