SQL injection in Metabase's password-reset API allows remote attackers to gain administrator access to affected Metabase instances. The POST /api/session/reset_password handler fails to neutralize attacker-controlled input before using it in an application-database SQL statement. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation permits configuration changes and access to stored connected-database credentials and data.
