Authenticated command execution via unescaped registry credentials
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
OS command injection in Dokploy before 0.29.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through malicious registry credentials. The getRegistryCommands() function inserts registry.password and registry.registryUrl into a shell command without escaping before Docker login. Project access and a configured registry are required; triggering a swarm deployment runs injected commands as the server process, enabling host-file modification and access to other containers through Docker.
