Host RCE via unquoted database name
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
OS command injection in Dokploy before 0.29.13 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands on the host. The backup.restoreBackupWithLogs subscription sends databaseName to restore builders that interpolate it unquoted into nested shell text passed to Node.js exec. Access requires backup:restore permission; shell expansion occurs before docker exec and grants root control of the Docker-privileged host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
