Member-level host-root RCE via rclone shell injection
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
OS command injection in Dokploy before 0.29.13 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root via an S3 destination test. The destination.testConnection mutation inserts six unescaped fields into a quoted rclone ls command passed to child_process.exec, so a double quote terminates an argument and exposes shell syntax. The lowest organization member role can reach the mutation; execution occurs in the root container, whose Docker socket mount grants control of the Linux host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
