Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped Oracle identifier
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
SQL injection in Budibase before 3.40.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify Oracle data via a crafted table name. OracleIntegration.query() interpolates json.table.name directly into a quoted SELECT identifier without escaping embedded double quotes or binding the value. Exploitation requires write permission on an introspected Oracle table with such a name, and injected statements run with the datasource database user's access.
