Authenticated command execution via unsandboxed Twig find
Published Aug 14, 2026 · Updated Aug 14, 2026
Server-side template injection in GetGrav Grav before 2.0.13 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands. Email.php renders email subject, body, to, and from values as unsandboxed @EmailVar Twig templates, letting the unhardened find filter invoke system as a callback. Page-edit permission is required to store the payload, which runs with web-server privileges when the form is submitted.
