Database manipulation via unsanitized expired-stock ID
Published Apr 28, 2026 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Pharmacy Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate its database via the id parameter. The delete_expired branch in ajax.php passes the POST id value directly into an SQL query without sanitization, validation, or parameter binding. Published sources conflict on the gate: the proof of concept reports no login, while the CNA record requires high privileges; successful injection permits database reads, writes, or deletion within the application account's permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
