Protected-document disclosure via omitted publish-access checks
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Missing authorization in SiYuan before 3.7.4 allows remote attackers to read attributes from protected documents via API requests. The getBlockAttrs and batchGetBlockAttrs handlers return complete attribute sets without calling the publish-access filter applied by a sibling endpoint. Publish mode and known block IDs are required; anonymous access depends on disabled publish authentication, while any RoleReader account can retrieve names, aliases, memos, tags, and custom fields.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
