Username disclosure via unredacted asset paths
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Information disclosure in SiYuan before 3.7.4 allows remote attackers to obtain the server's absolute workspace path via a published asset. The resolveAssetPath handler returns the raw output of GetAssetAbsPathInBox without redaction or a publish-scope authorization check. Publish mode must be enabled; an anonymous reader when publish authentication is disabled, or any publish RoleReader, can expose the OS username and installation layout.
