Session-key disclosure via incomplete configuration masking

Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026

Information disclosure in SiYuan before 3.7.4 allows remote attackers to obtain session-signing keys through /api/system/getConf. The endpoint's non-administrator path uses a field blocklist that omits CookieKey, Export.PandocBin, and NotebookCrypto while returning the masked configuration. Publish mode exposes the response anonymously when publish authentication is disabled and otherwise to publish readers; the leaked key enables session-cookie forgery, with administrator impersonation when no access-auth code is configured.
