CVE-2026-72779Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Arbitrary file read via incomplete class blocklist

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

Arbitrary file read in Craft CMS 4.0.0-RC1 before 4.18.2 and 5.0.0-RC1 before 5.10.6 allows remote authenticated users to read server files. The create() Twig function permits PHP class instantiation through a five-entry blocklist that omits SplFileObject, so a crafted title or URI format opens and renders an attacker-selected path. Exploitation requires control-panel administrator access, allowAdminChanges=true, and later entry creation; disclosed server files can include credentials and application secrets.
