Administrator-session script execution via unsanitized phone field
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Stored XSS in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo 29.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The setPhone() method stores the registration phone value without sanitization, and the admin users grid passes the raw database row to tbody.html(). Exploitation requires solving the registration captcha and an administrator opening /users, after which script runs with the administrator's browser-session privileges.
