LAN path and UUID disclosure via Host spoofing
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Information disclosure in Nuxt 3.21.7 through 3.21.9 and 4.4.7 through 4.5.0 allows remote attackers to obtain project paths and UUIDs. The isLocalDevRequest gate treats missing browser headers as local and validates an attacker-controlled Host header instead of the TCP peer. Exposure requires a development server bound beyond loopback with the default-enabled workspace setting; production builds are unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=3.21.7 <3.21.10
- Affected versionversion=4.4.7 <4.5.1
