Authenticated cross-space disclosure and disruption via unchecked identifiers
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Authorization bypass in Kibana 8.19.0 through 8.19.19, 9.0.0 through 9.4.4, and 9.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to access cross-space models. Machine learning inference, deployment-stop, and deployment-update handlers accept a user-controlled model identifier without checking the requesting space's ACL. Any authenticated account can obtain another space's inference output, stop its active deployment, or alter allocated resources; all configurations are affected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=8.19.0 <=8.19.19
- Affected versionversion=9.0.0 <=9.4.4
