Authenticated SQL injection via unvalidated ORDER BY direction
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
SQL injection in Koha through 24.11.17, 25.05.12, 25.11.06, and 26.05.01 allows remote authenticated users to read database contents. C4::Acquisition::GetInvoices allow-lists the requested column but concatenates the orderby direction token directly into the SQL ORDER BY clause. Staff access with the acquisition order_receive permission enables blind time-based extraction of patron data, password hashes, and two-factor secrets.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <24.11.18
