SSRF in Friendica through 2026.08-dev allows remote authenticated users to probe internal services through the link-preview endpoint. The endpoint passes any user-supplied URL to the server-side fetch operation without denying internal IP destinations. A free self-registered account is sufficient to scan reachable internal services or request cloud metadata.
