Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Dulldusk phpFileManager 1.8.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a crafted upload. The save_upload function copies an uploaded file into the selected directory unless its name matches an entry in upload_ext_filter, but the shipped filter is empty. With auth_pass empty by default, network-reachable instances expose the upload handler without credentials; execution requires the destination path to be served by PHP.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
