OS command injection in HyperInSPACE Community Processor's main branch allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute arbitrary commands. OBPGSession.httpdl trusts a response-supplied Content-Disposition filename, and uncompressFile concatenates the resulting path into a shell command passed to subprocess.Popen with shell=True. Exploitation requires a data download with decompression and interception or spoofing of the oceandata server response; commands run with the application user's privileges.
