Adjacent authentication bypass via unrestricted password guessing
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Improper attempt restriction in Zyxel WRE6505 v2 firmware V1.00(ABDV.3)C0 allows attackers on the LAN to bypass authentication. The web management interface accepts repeated password guesses without sufficiently restricting failed authentication attempts.
