Cross-account record modification via unscoped event lookup
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
IDOR in Attendize through commit 9289acb allows remote authenticated users to alter other accounts' event and order records. The postInviteAttendee endpoint loads a caller-supplied event ID without restricting the query to the authenticated organiser account. Any event-organiser account can therefore inject attendees and orders across account boundaries, corrupting event and financial data.
