Credential disclosure via ownerless draft ACL bypass
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Information disclosure in Windmill Labs Windmill through 1.783.0 allows remote authenticated users to read ownerless draft scripts. The drafts endpoint returns legacy records whose owner email is null without enforcing the workspace ACL, including plaintext resource credentials embedded in script content. Any workspace membership is sufficient, and exposed credentials can grant access to resources beyond the member's assigned ACLs.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
