Kernel memory corruption via premature SRQ page free
Published Aug 15, 2026 · Updated Aug 15, 2026
Use-after-free in the Linux kernel bnxt_re RDMA driver 6.12 allows local users to corrupt kernel memory during SRQ teardown. In bnxt_re_destroy_srq(), free_page() releases the SRQ toggle page before bnxt_qplib_destroy_srq() completes, so a concurrent NQ interrupt writes toggle values through a stale mapping. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access, an SRQ using the bnxt_re toggle feature, and a notification interrupt during firmware teardown.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
