Hardware protection bypass via combined regulator events

Improper event handling in Linux kernel PMBus drivers allows local users to bypass critical hardware protection during concurrent faults. The delayed worker combines distinct regulator-event bits and passes the bitmask to a strict single-event switch, leaving the fault reason unset and skipping hw_protection_trigger(). Exploitation requires a PMBus regulator and multiple faults before the worker runs; the missed protection permits hardware-affecting integrity loss or service interruption.
