Local denial of service via group-reference leak
Published Aug 15, 2026 · Updated Aug 15, 2026
Resource leak in the Linux kernel drm/panthor scheduler allows local users to exhaust resources and interrupt service. The group-eviction path cancels pending tiler_oom_work without releasing the group reference tied to that work. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and a Panthor workload that evicts a group before tiler OOM work runs; repeated triggers can deny service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
