Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Apr 28, 2026 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Code Projects Online Music Site 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute server-side code. AdminUpdateAlbum.php trusts the txtimage part's declared MIME type and filename, then stores attacker-controlled PHP beneath the web-accessible album-image directory. The CNA's CVSS assessment requires high privileges even though the linked proof of concept claims no login is required; successful exploitation runs the uploaded script in the web server's context.
