Local kernel compromise via wrong address-space lookup

Improper memory-context use in Linux 6.18 before 6.18.40 and 6.19.0 through 7.1.4 allows local users to compromise the kernel. The x86 __in_uprobe_trampoline check looks up the target instruction address in current->mm, the tracer address space, instead of the traced process mm. The flaw is reached while unregistering an optimized uprobe and exposes kernel confidentiality, integrity, and availability; no more specific failure mode is published.
