CVE-2026-7220Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote command execution via PowerShell interpolation

Published Apr 28, 2026 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

OS command injection in FastlyMCP at commit 6f3d0b0e654fc51076badc7fa16c03c461f95620 allows remote attackers to execute commands. The executeFastlyCLI function interpolates the request-controlled fastly_cli command into a PowerShell string and passes it to child_process.exec without validation. Reachability requires access to invoke fastly_cli; successful injection runs with the MCP server process's privileges and can read or alter host data or interrupt the service.
