Kernel heap corruption via unchecked index promotion

Out-of-bounds writing in the ntfs3 index code in affected Linux kernels allows attackers to corrupt kernel heap memory via a crafted NTFS image. indx_insert_into_root sums on-disk resident entry sizes without bounding to_move to the new INDEX_BUFFER capacity before hdr_insert_head copies them. Triggering requires a mounted crafted NTFS image and a create in a full resident directory; the result is bounded adjacent-heap corruption, with victim-object control dependent on slab layout.
