Service interruption via unchecked USB endpoint type

Improper endpoint validation in the Linux kernel ims-pcu driver allows physically proximate attackers to cause a service interrupt via USB. The control-interface probe passes its first endpoint to usb_fill_int_urb() without confirming that it is an interrupt IN endpoint. A device advertising another endpoint type can trigger kernel warnings or undefined behavior, with system instability or denial of service reported.
