Authenticated kernel stack overflow via oversized session key

Stack buffer overflow in ksmbd in Linux Kernel 7.2-rc3 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt kernel memory via SMB3 binding. ntlm_authenticate and krb5_authenticate direct session keys permitted to reach 40 bytes into a 16-byte channel_key stack buffer. The reported path requires a valid non-guest session with multichannel enabled and writes up to 24 bytes beyond the buffer, but the Linux CNA rejected the identifier, so it no longer denotes a confirmed CVE.
