System interruption via duplicate RMID free

Double-free in Linux kernel resctrl before 7.2 allows local users to interrupt system availability when resctrl is unmounted. During pseudo-locked group creation, its RMID is released and added to rmid_free_lru; rmdir_all_sub() later releases every group RMID without excluding that entry, inserting the same list node again. Access requires a configured pseudo-locked region and permission to unmount resctrl, and published material does not specify whether the resulting interruption is a hang, crash, or reboot.
