CVE-2026-7201Network attack vector

Account compromise via user-controlled account key

Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026

Authorization bypass in affected Progress Sitefinity CMS 15.2.x, 15.3.x, and 15.4.x releases allows remote authenticated users to modify other accounts. The web services layer accepts a user-controlled key to select another user's account without enforcing object-level authorization; Progress has not identified the endpoint or code path. Exploitation requires valid credentials and knowledge of values not generally exposed to low-privileged users, and successful modification can compromise the targeted account.
