Cross-organization access via unbound share-link verification
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026
Authorization bypass in Fossorial Pangolin before 1.22.0 allows remote attackers holding a valid share link to access protected resources. The share-link authentication endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled resource URL but verifies the token without binding it to that resource's identifier. Possession of one valid link grants access to resources in other organizations despite SSO, passwords, PINs, email allowlists, or header authentication.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
