CVE-2026-71969

Secure-world heap corruption via RSA input underwrite

Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Buffer underwrite in OP-TEE OS 4.10.0 and earlier allows attackers controlling a Trusted Application to corrupt secure-world heap memory. The mbedTLS and SE050 RSA NOPAD paths left-align caller input without bounding src_len to the modulus, so unsigned offset subtraction wraps and memcpy writes before the allocated buffer. Reachability requires a Trusted Application able to invoke TEE_ALG_RSA_NOPAD with oversized input; published evidence establishes controlled heap corruption but not code execution.
