Unauthenticated file disclosure via whitelisted download endpoint
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Missing authorization in Flowise 2.2.4 through 3.1.4 allows remote attackers to retrieve private files through a download endpoint. The POST /api/v1/openai-assistants-file/download route is globally whitelisted, bypassing session and API-key checks before accepting file identifiers. Valid chatflowId, chatId, and fileName values expose files from private chatflows in other workspaces or organizations.
