Unauthenticated command execution via access-list name overflow
Published Aug 8, 2026 · Updated Aug 8, 2026
Buffer overflow in D-Link DWR-M961 C1 firmware before 1.1.5_C1_202607071108 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. The app.cgi access-control handler copies an overly long netAcc.addlist[].name value into a fixed-size buffer without validating its length. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted request can take control of the router or crash it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
