Unauthenticated root command execution via diagnostic host injection
Published Aug 8, 2026 · Updated Aug 8, 2026
Command injection in D-Link DWR-M961 C1 firmware before 1.1.5_C1_202607071108 allows remote attackers to execute commands as root. The /boafrm/formDebugDiagnosticRun web-management CGI incorporates the attacker-controlled host field into an OS command without adequate neutralization. No authentication or user interaction is required; a network request to the management interface grants root-level command execution on the device.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
