Authenticated reboot via oversized HTTP parameter overflow
Published Sep 29, 2026 · Updated Sep 29, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in the T-CPE301K 4G LTE Router allows remote authenticated users to reboot the device through an HTTP POST request. An excessively long parameter sent to /js/common/do_cmd.js overwrites stack data, including the PC and RA registers. Exploitation requires an authenticated management session; the reported consequence is a denial-of-service reboot, not demonstrated code execution or data access.
