CVE-2026-71910Network attack vector

Authenticated root command execution via apautotest fields

Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026

OS command injection in DrayTek VigorAP firmware before model-specific fixed releases allows remote authenticated users to run root commands. The apautotest function passes insufficiently validated CMD0, CMD3, and CMD6 field values into command execution, allowing shell metacharacters to alter the operating-system command. Administrative web-interface credentials are required, and DrayTek confirms the code conditions but reports no demonstrated trigger or practical attack path in deployed devices.
