Admin code execution via prototype manipulation
Published Apr 27, 2026 · Updated Apr 27, 2026
Code injection in QnABot on AWS 7.2.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code in the Fulfillment Lambda. The conditional-chaining evaluator passes a crafted expression to static-eval, where JavaScript prototype manipulation escapes the intended sandbox. Admin access to Content Designer is required; execution can expose Lambda environment variables, OpenSearch indices, S3 objects, and DynamoDB tables.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
