Root command execution via unsanitized mesh speed-test fields
Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026
OS command injection in six DrayTek VigorAP models allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges. The mesh_start_speed_test function passes insufficiently sanitized meshdevice_index and meshdevice_ip values into an operating-system command. Administrative web-interface credentials are required, and DrayTek reports no known trigger, exploit method, or practical attack path in deployments.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
