Cross-project workflow disclosure via unchecked task ID
Published Sep 29, 2026 · Updated Sep 29, 2026
Missing authorization in Apache DolphinScheduler 3.2.0 through 3.4.2 lets remote authenticated users read workflow data from other projects. The query-dynamic-sub-workflows API passes a supplied taskId to the workflow-instance service without checking the caller's access to the associated project. Exploitation requires a valid session and a task reference in a project outside the caller's permissions; the disclosed effect is unauthorized reading of workflow information.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
