Authentication-token disclosure via unsanitized PATCH response
Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026
Information disclosure in Mattermost allows remote authenticated users to obtain remote cluster authentication tokens via a PATCH request. In 10.11.0 through 10.11.15, 11.5.0 through 11.5.4, and 11.6.0 through 11.6.1, the Remote Cluster PATCH handler returns an unsanitized API response that retains the cluster's authentication token. An account with manage_secure_connections permission can send the request and recover credentials usable to authenticate a remote cluster; no token modification or service interruption is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=10.11.0 <=10.11.15
