Unsafe vehicle motion via expired trajectory extrapolation
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Improper expired-trajectory handling in EGO-Planner-v2 allows attackers to cause unsafe vehicle motion via unspecified vectors. The planFromLocalTraj function derives an out-of-range time from stale trajectory metadata and evaluates position, velocity, and acceleration without enforcing the trajectory duration, producing a nonphysical replanning state. Reachability requires a local trajectory to remain unrefreshed past its duration; resulting plans can be discontinuous, unstable, or collision-prone.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
