CVE-2026-7160Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unfiltered traceroute parameter

Published Apr 27, 2026 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Command injection in Tenda HG3 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through its traceroute web endpoint. The formTracert handler at /boaform/formTracert fails to adequately filter the datasize parameter before command concatenation. Exploitation requires network access to the management interface and an authenticated account; command execution affects the appliance, with no user interaction required.
