Heap disclosure or crash via tagged-integer decoding
Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Apache Fory C++ 0.14.0 through 1.4.0 allows remote attackers to disclose heap data or crash a process. The tagged-integer fast-path deserializer reads beyond its heap buffer while decoding crafted integer fields in serialized structs. Exposure requires an application to deserialize attacker-controlled Fory C++ data containing tagged integer fields; other implementations and C++ uses without those fields are unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
